Baked Ham and Cheese Sliders

Ingredients
- 1 package King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls (12-count)
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 pound thinly-sliced deli ham (such as Black Forest)
- 1/4 pound deli-sliced sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 pound deli-sliced Swiss cheese
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1-1/2 teaspoons poppy seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Pinch kosher salt (if needed)
Instructions
- Mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard together in a small bowl for the spread and set aside.
- Slice the slider buns in half using a serrated bread knife to separate tops from bottoms. Place cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- Preheat broiler to high with rack in the second position (about 6 inches from element). Broil rolls on cut-sides for 1-2 minutes until lightly toasted, watching carefully.
- Preheat oven to 350°F with rack in middle position. Lightly spray a baking dish with cooking spray (reduce to 325°F if using dark pan).
- Place bottom halves of toasted rolls in prepared dish. Spread more than half of the Dijon-mayo mixture on them.
- Layer cheeses and meat as follows: cheddar cheese, ham, Swiss cheese. Spread remaining Dijon-mayo on toasted top halves and place over Swiss cheese layer.
- Combine melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, onion powder, and salt in a small bowl. Distribute evenly over sliders using a basting brush.
- Cover with foil and let stand 5 minutes. Bake 20 minutes until heated through and cheese melts. Remove foil and bake 5-10 minutes more until tops are golden and crispy.
- Let stand briefly, cut into individual servings, and serve hot with sides.
