Debbie's Baked Potato Soup
Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes baked
- 2/3 C butter
- 2/3 Cup flour
- 6 Cups milk
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 green onions finely chopped
- 12 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Chop potatoes.
- Melt butter in saucepan.
- Add flour, pepper, salt and bouillon.
- Cook until smooth.
- Cook 1 minute stirring constantly and gradually add milk.
- Cook on medium heat until thick and smooth.
- Add potatoes, onion, 1/2 the bacon, and 3/4 cup cheese.
- Cook until heated.
- Add extra milk if too thick for your taste.
- Top with remaining bacon and cheese.
