Carrot Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lbs Carrots
  • 2 TBLS Butter
  • 2 TBLS Flour
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 6 slices of American Cheese
  • 1/4 Cup melted Butter
  • 2 Cups Crushed Cornflakes

Instructions

  1. Peel, slice, and cook until tender.
  2. Drain and place in 9x13 casserole dish.
  3. Melt 2 Tbls Butter, in saucepan.
  4. Add Flour.
  5. Slowly stir in 1 Cup milk.
  6. Stir until it thickens.
  7. Add cheese.
  8. Once cheese melts, pour over carrots.
  9. melt remaining butter.
  10. Mix with Crushed Cornflakes.
  11. Spread on top of carrots.
  12. Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour.
