Fluffy Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Butter
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 5 1/2 Cups flour

Buttercream:

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4-1/3 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar
  2. Add eggs and vanilla
  3. Add Sour cream
  4. Combine dry ingredients and add to wet mixture
  5. Roll out on well floured surface about 1/3 inch thinck.
  6. Carefully transfer to baking sheet lined with parchment paper greased with pam or baking stone
  7. Bake at 375 for 7-8 minutes until edges are barely brown
  8. Remove from oven and let sit for a minute before transferring to cooling rack.
  9. Frost with Buttercream: Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until crumbly.
  10. Gradually add milk until it reaches desired consistency.
