Kimbra's Carmel Corn
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Butter
- 2 Cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Corn Syrup
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 5 quarts popped popcorn
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250
- Place popcorn in very large bowl
- In medium saucepan melt butter.
- Stir in Brown Sugar, Corn Syrup, and salt.
- Bring to a boil.
- Boil for 4 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in Soda and Vanilla. (be careful it will start to bubble up!)
- Pour in a thin stream over popcorn.
- Stir Popcorn until well coated.
- Place in large roasting pan.
- Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven.
- Let cool before storing
