Ranger Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Shortening (or 1/2 Cup Butter, 1/2 Cup Applesauce)
- 1 Cup White Sugar
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Coconut
- 2 Cups Rice Krispies or Corn Flakes
- 2 Cups Quick Oats
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Soda
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 Cup Nuts (Optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven to 350.
- Cream Shortening & Sugars.
- Add beaten Eggs, Vanilla, Oatmeal, and Coconut.
- Add Sifted dry ingredients and Nuts.
- Last, add cereal being careful not to break it.
- Form into Small balls and flatten.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes
